The AS245 by AUSTAR is a remarkable industrial fan designed to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. With a substantial 24ft diameter and five cambered aerofoil design blades crafted from Aluminum 6063, this fan ensures optimal airflow with an impressive capacity of 390,000 CFM. The blades are coated with a protective layer, enhancing their durability and resistance to wear and tear.
Powered by a robust 1.5 KW electric geared motor from the renowned German manufacturer NORD, the AS245 operates at a maximum speed of 50 rpm, which can be variably adjusted between 0 and 50 rpm. The motor is built to last, featuring Class F insulation and boasting an IE2 efficiency class, making it an energy-efficient choice for industrial applications.
The AS245 fan offers versatile power options, capable of running on either a single-phase or three-phase power supply at 50Hz. Its sturdy construction comprises a powder-coated M.S. frame and hanging structure, ensuring corrosion resistance and durability. The hub, made of single-piece aluminum die-casted material, further adds to the fan's overall stability and performance.
To ensure secure assembly, the AS245 incorporates high-tensile 10.9-grade HEX bolts, sourced from reputable brands like Unbrako or TVS. These fasteners, coupled with the fan's robust design, guarantee the longevity and reliability of the equipment.
The fan's safety features have been thoughtfully designed with compliance to CE requirements, offering a certification of safety standards. All bolted joints are secured with self-locking type Nylock Nuts, eliminating the risk of loosening during operation. Additionally, for enhanced safety, all bolted joints are wrapped with SS wire rope, providing an extra layer of protection.
The motor-hub assembly is coupled through self-locking type split couplings, ensuring a secure connection. Moreover, to mitigate potential hazards, anti-fall S Bends are provided to prevent the hub from dropping in the event of coupling failure, prioritizing safety for personnel and equipment.
The control panel is mounted on the wall, approximately 4 to 5 ft from the floor level, and contains a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) from 'Danfoss' or 'Fuji' make, housed in an IP55-rated powder-coated steel cabinet. The control panel is designed to be compatible with Building Management Systems (BMS), offering convenient and efficient control of the fan's operation.
The AS245 comes with a comprehensive warranty, providing customers with peace of mind. The hub, blades, and structure are covered under a three-year warranty, while the geared motor and controller are covered for one year. This warranty underscores the manufacturer's confidence in the fan's quality and durability.
