Introducing the AS125 by AUSTAR, this industrial fan is designed to offer reliable performance and efficient airflow for various applications. With a 12ft diameter, the AS125 features five cambered aerofoil design blades made from Aluminum 6063, ensuring optimal airflow with an air volume capacity of 135,000 CFM. The blades are coated with a protective layer for enhanced durability and longevity.
The fan is powered by a robust 0.75 KW electric geared motor from the renowned German manufacturer NORD. Capable of a maximum speed of 10 rpm, the motor's variable speed control allows operation between 0 and 50 rpm, offering versatility for different airflow requirements. The motor is designed with Class F insulation and boasts an IE2 efficiency class, providing energy efficiency and reliability.
To accommodate various power supplies, the AS125 can be operated with either a single-phase or three-phase power source at 50Hz. Its sturdy construction comprises a powder-coated M.S. frame and hanging structure, both designed to withstand rigorous industrial conditions. The impeller (hub) is crafted from a single-piece aluminum die-casted material, contributing to the fan's overall stability and performance.
The AS125 ensures secure assembly with high-tensile 10.9-grade HEX bolts sourced from reputable brands such as Unbrako or TVS. These fasteners, combined with the fan's robust design, ensure the equipment's longevity and reliable operation.
Safety is a priority in the design of AS125. The fan comes with a compliance certificate, meeting the CE requirements, and assuring adherence to international safety standards. All bolted joints feature self-locking type Nylock Nuts, effectively eliminating the risk of loosening during operation. Additionally, for added safety, all bolted joints are wrapped with SS wire rope, providing an extra layer of protection.
The motor-hub assembly is coupled through self-locking type split couplings, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. Furthermore, to enhance safety measures, anti-fall S Bends are provided, preventing the hub from dropping in case of coupling failure, thereby ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
The control panel is wall-mounted at a height of approximately 4 to 5 ft from the floor level and contains a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) from either 'Danfoss' or 'Fuji' make. The control panel is enclosed in an IP55-rated powder-coated steel cabinet and is designed to be compatible with Building Management Systems (BMS), offering convenient and efficient control over the fan's operation.
AUSTAR stands behind the quality and durability of the AS125 by providing a comprehensive warranty. The hub, blades, and structure are covered for three years, while the geared motor and controller are covered for one year, ensuring peace of mind for customers.
