Introducing the AS165 by AUSTAR, this industrial fan is engineered to provide exceptional performance and reliability. Featuring a 16ft diameter, the AS165 is equipped with five cambered aerofoil design blades made of Aluminum 6063, ensuring efficient airflow with an impressive air volume capacity of 185,000 CFM. The blades are coated with a protective layer, enhancing their durability and resistance to wear and tear.
The fan is powered by a robust 1.1 KW electric geared motor from the renowned German manufacturer NORD. Capable of reaching a maximum speed of 70 rpm, the motor's variable speed control allows operation between 0 and 50 rpm, offering flexibility to cater to different airflow requirements. With an IP55-rated enclosure and Class F insulation, the motor ensures reliable performance and is built to withstand demanding industrial environments.
To accommodate different power supplies, the AS165 can be operated with either a single-phase or three-phase power source at 50Hz. Its sturdy construction comprises a powder-coated M.S. frame and hanging structure, both designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance and ensure the fan's longevity. The hub, crafted from a single-piece aluminum die-casted material, contributes to the fan's overall stability and performance.
The AS165 fan guarantees secure assembly with the use of high-tensile 10.9-grade HEX bolts sourced from reputable brands like Unbrako or TVS. These fasteners, combined with the fan's robust design, ensure the equipment's durability and reliable operation.
Safety is a top priority in the design of the AS165. The fan comes with a compliance certificate, meeting the CE requirements, and assuring adherence to international safety standards. All bolted joints are secured with self-locking type Nylock Nuts, effectively eliminating the risk of loosening during operation. Additionally, to enhance safety measures, all bolted joints are wrapped with SS wire rope, providing an extra layer of protection.
The motor-hub assembly is coupled through self-locking type split couplings, ensuring a secure and dependable connection. Furthermore, to prevent any potential hazards, antifall S Bends are provided, preventing the hub from dropping in the event of coupling failure, and ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
The control panel is wall-mounted at a height of approximately 4 to 5 ft from the floor level and houses a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) from either 'Danfoss' or 'Fuji' make. The control panel is enclosed in an IP55-rated powder-coated steel cabinet and is designed to be compatible with Building Management Systems (BMS), providing convenient and efficient control over the fan's operation.
